He was in debt....but his assets we’re well above the dept...Like you own your house, but you owe gobs in credit cards...Don’t want to sell one to pay off the others.

Michael Jackson was in debt, but he still had valuable assets and income coming in. And I don’t think his heirs were co-signers on his debts.
