NEWPORT BEACH -- A Newport Beach woman has been charged with trying to extort $15,000.00 from a man she met through an online dating service after telling police he raped her.
28-year old Susanna Maria Coetzee faces a felony count of attempting to extort and a misdemeanor count of falsely reporting a crime.
Prosecutors say Coetzee met the unidentified man on www.seekingarrangement.com, a Web site billed as "the elite sugar daddy dating site."
The company defines a sugar daddy as "a wealthy, usually older man who gives expensive gifts to a young person in return for intimacy or companionship."
Prosecutors say Coetzee met the man for drinks and then went to a hotel in Anaheim.
After the two began having sex, prosecutors say the woman demanded money.
When the man refused, Coetzee filed a report saying that the man had pushed her to the bed, covered her face with a pillow to keep her from screaming and raped her, prosecutors said.
Over the next two weeks, prosecutors say, Coetzee sent the man several dozen text messages in an attempt to get $15,000 from him in exchange for dropping her accusation.

Her Coetzee sure isn’t worth 15K.
Stupid, properly played that guy probably would have paid her a lot more than 15,000
She can now be found on www.seekingarraignment.com
Thank god criminals are idiots...
LOL!
Good one!
There should be a special penalty for this type of crime.
How many men sit in prison falsely convicted?
Agreed! And how many women that are truly raped never see justice because of women like this?
Mike Tyson isnt in prison any longer, but I believe he was falsely accused.
Bump for later dating :-)
Oh wait, she's Black....and, it's racist to hold Blacks reponsible for anything.
Maybe she looks better with make up....As is she is GUILTY!! I wouldn’t give $15.00 much less fifteen grand...
That’s a very old looking 28 year-old. Probably too much sun when she was young.
He's lucky, she didn't pull a gun on him.
From what I have read, the "spceial penalty" for false rape allegation is often no penalty at all. Sounds special to me.
