Womens voting rights WAS the beginning of the end for the USA.
Not to mention letting them drive.
Look what it has done to insurance costs.
And for the second car, I could have had a nice boat.
(Don’t let my wife see this!)
And don’t get me started on women drivers, either. ;^)
Yeah and women working in factories in WW 2 was the end of WW2
I could talk about how the first three Presidents elected after the 19th Amendment was passed were Republicans. Or how California Republican Senator Aaron Sargent introduced a bill that would allow women to vote in 1878 - decades before Democrat Woodrow Wilson pulled his head out of his ass and finally supported the cause. Or how when Susan B. Anthony was charged with illegally voting in 1872, she voted a straight Republican ticket. Or how the first states to grant women the right to vote - Wyoming, Utah, Colorado, Idaho - tend to be very conservative red states. Or how notorious socialist scumbags FDR, LBJ, and Slick Willy Klintoon all won the male vote as well as the female vote.
But I just want to say that I thought you were better than this. I liked your contributions on the Survivor threads.
Come on. The young woman who carries an Uzi and says the Pledge of Allegiance is not the enemy. The enemy is the bearded, turbaned man with the AK-47 who prays to Mecca.
I see that as more of an acceleration of an already existing problem. I think the big problem was when they said "All white men get to vote." We moved from people who had a demonstrable stake in election results and history of work to people who were simply a certain color with a certain organ between their legs...suddenly, the diligent farmer and the town drunk were on a par in the voting booth.
