Usually Vicodins have about 325mg of tylenol in them, and the most tylenol you should take in a day is 4000 mg, and it only takes about 12 Vicodins a day to reach this level. If he was taking anywhere near even 12 for any extended time period, his liver probably would look like swiss cheese. I had abdominal surgery sometime back, and called the doc about the vicodins not really cutting it, so far as pain killing went, and he told me to double the dosage. I nearly ovedosed on tylenol as a result. I was not aware, before that about the problem of tylenol and opiate painkillers.
