Sorry, militanttoby, missed your comeback. Rahm is certainly capable of orchestrating a vicious attack against anyone. I’m certain some of that is going on, but I don’t think an orchestrated attack is necessary. The DC Cocktail Circuit feels threatened by the ‘Cuda as they’ve never before felt threatened, and their obsessive-compulsive behavior is emblematic of that. An orchestrated attack, IMO, is usually signaled by a steady drip, drip, drip of attacks over a prolonged period of time. This has been characterized by one Tsunami wave after another of lies and smears, with people writing one article after another (or commenting on one TV program after another), repeating themselves endlessly. Interesting psychology.
