You are correct, of course. I went back and peaked at the Rasmussen numbers and, from 6/10/09 to date, that is exactly how far he's slid between those that strongly approve and those that strongly disapprove (I'm a little uneasy with this methodology, but it is as good as any).

Out of curiosity, do you have a feel as to Obama’s current approval ratings compared to Bush's numbers during his first term? I have a feeling that Obama is lagging in this regard. Are there similar polls that can be compared?
