I thought the Sharpton and Sheila-Jackson Lee parts were a farce, but most of the people participating were friends (Brooke Shields), co-workers, or family. Those people close to him are certainly feeling a loss, and my heartfelt sympathy goes out to them.

I wonder how durable his fandom will be, compared with Elvis and Princess Di. I think not so much, not even as much as John Lennon.

Of course Al “I have a scheme” Sharpton and Sheila Jackson Lee were there to represent all pondscum politicians who could not be in attendance.
