That sounds like a really funny image. How long did you spend? Was it covered in fur? Did you consider taking it to Super Cuts?

Spiders, flies, other bugs and wasps found inside get a spray of insecticide or swatted with a swatter.

The poor little toads were sort of cute and trust me they had been traumatized enough. The cats are usually pretty deadly predators, they play their prey to death. The little toads survived the cats, the least we could do was try to see that they could breathe and were returned to their natural habitat.
Yes they had lots of fur attached to them, but we just sort of gave them a quick brush with paper towels and returned them to the garden. I was afraid to put them in water to try to wash it off.
