I much as I would like to believe you, you have this a bit mixed up. By your logic anyone born on US soil but to a foreign father is not a natural born citizen. This would have shut everyone up about Barry’s bogus citizenship long ago and it is unchallenged that his father is Kenyan. I also think have the father/mother thing wrong, as unless we are doing genetic testing to establish birth certificates, then all a woman has to do to establish citizenship for her child is to lie about who the father is. Thus a kenyan woman could lie and say the father is a US citizen and her kenyan born child becomes a US Citizen. I know that ain’t right.

Well, not to argue with you, as I am sure a friendly fellow, however, you have it mixed up.

Forget all that genetic argument stuff as it has nothing to do with where you where born and for the sake of this argument we are discussing lines on a map. Within those lines are countries and we want to know for certain within whose border you and your parents were born.

Barry tells you straight his father is or was a citizen of Kenya and that he himself, Barry, was a citizen of Kenya at birth for that reason alone.

Therefore he is not a natural born citizen with undivided citizen and loyalties at birth. Hmmm, now that I think of maybe that is why he went on his world citizenship tour before the election.

In regards to some wench lying about the citizenship status of the father that is a bit a stretch for this or any other argument, isn't it? We would still have to establish jurisdictional citizenship of the parent and lacking such evidence there could be real or legitimate confirmation of status.

Of course, if Barry's parents were Mexican then it wouldn't matter. As an aside, you will find many of us referring to Barry because the name he wants us to believe is his doesn't show up in the spell checker here at Free Republic. That alone proves he is an illegitimate ghost. LOL /s

And just to simpify it. Yes, anyone born here but whose father is a foreign national is not a natural born citizen.

No, she would need the cooperation of the father. A foreign national showing up with a baby at the American embassy without the participation of the father will get shown the door.

It has nothing to do with Vendome's "logic."

It has to do with existing caselaw.

Natural Born Citizen -- The Law
