It looks pretty authentic. But to be fair, after the Dan Rather thing, any fake of this would now have to be pretty good.
the problem with this is that the hospital mentioned in the article is different from the hospital mentioned as obama’s birth place for many years. The second problem is that the residence mentioned was lived in by someone else at the time—who died only weeks before the this news item surfaced last july—so there are no witnesses. However, the next door neighbor to the stated residence has said for the record that there were no blacks in residence next door. Nor does she have any memory of obama being next door. Rather her understanding was that he lived elsewhere closer to the university. Obama’s father is on record as having a different residence than the one named in the file.
My post is just about the newspaper listings and whether or not they are genuine. The information is either forged or it is genuine. If it is genuine, it is probably gleaned from official records and not the parents of the child.
Whether Obama’s mother gave a valid address is a completely saperate issue, at least for me. I do think the newspaper clippings look pretty authentic though.
or the library roll is the original with the relevant frame cut out and a new one spliced in,

Like the Nordyke’s was removed and replaced with Odumbo’s? What if someone had those actual newspapers and Nordyke was there, but not obama’s?
