I don't agree with the way people felt on election day, nor do I pretend to understand precisely why they felt the way they did. But, you can't deny that they did indeed feel that way. And in politics, that's what really counts - the public's perception is the political reality.
With this resignation, I don't see the larger public's perception of Palin improving, at least in the next few years. Don't shoot the messenger.
you said:With this resignation, I don’t see the larger public’s perception of Palin improving, at least in the next few years. Don’t shoot the messenger.
I won’t shoot you but the 2102 vote is not being held next week. She resigned AK governorship but it’s clear she’s hardly quitting politics; she may soon be in Zero’s head 24/7
if she can expose Cap & trade and many other frauds to the public, she or her candidates will win in landslide(s)
I think SP is great. She has been in most repects more thoroughly vetted than anyone in history. I would like her to lay out HER positions on illegals etc a little more, but bottom line I agree with probably 75% already and trust her 100%. I cant imagine she will not be my first choice.
If the only way that we can “win” is to tear down any true conservative candidate and to run to the left, then why fight it? The people have spoken and they demand Marxism.
Palin could never win by playing the game by the current rules. No conservative can. If a conservative can’t win, then the GOP can’t win. Perhaps she will change the rules a bit with this move. Maybe she won’t. At this point, we have nothing to lose. Marxism is finally burying us, as predicted about 50 years ago.
We need someone to convince those blue-collar and cubicle-dweller Democrats that they really are Conservatives. That will take someone to change the paradigm. Personally, I think a third party is the only answer. Give the GOP to the country club types. Cut the Dems down to the academics, looters, and other true believers of Marxism. A third party could take the rest—and the rest make up what’s great about America.
Romney, Huckabee, Giuliani are firmly entrenched in the old paradigm.
Jindal and all the other “young blood” types lack the charisma to be a political game-changer.
Yep. The jokes are already flying thick and fast (e.g. I hear that her next job is going to be running the big Alaska dog race: the I-quit-arod.)
