He does, commish. We haven’t seen Andy accelerate yet.
LA looking in control, good shape.

Andy and Alberto have backed off and dropped back to the others. Kloden is clawing to get back with them.
Andy Shleck is dropping back...

Armstrong, Contador, Frank, Andy, Wiggins are all together. Kloden is a bit behind but staying in contact at the moment.
Tony Martin is looking good at the front of the race at the moment. 2 and quarter minutes clear of the mj group

Sounds like Andy will be Contadors main competition in the next few years. Maybe they will have an Armstrong/Ulrich sort of relationship. I always felt a little bad for Ulrich - he should have had one year at least

Contador and A Shleck have broken free of the others and opened a little gap.
Looks like the battle is now for third between Frank, Lance and Bradley.

NIbali has crossed to Andy and Alberto...
He is within 1:50 of the others.. so Wiggins, Frank and Lance have to react..
And Here goes Wiggins!
Kloden and Armstrong mark him.

This reminds me of America’s Cup-style match racing maneuvers at the start of a race.

he should have had one year at least Jan Ullrich won the TdF in 1997, if that's what you meant.
To: commish; Mom MD
Andy accelerates, Contador answers. Every time.

Andy Shleck is riding hard! Contador marking him easily. Will either one Crack? NIbali is still with them.
Now almost 30 seconds clear of the Armstring group - Armstrong, Frank Shleck, Bradley Wiggin, and Andreas Kloden all together.

Frank Shleck still looks like he is in pain. Armstrong looks like Lance always looks..no effort at all.
Andy Shleck, Contador, Nibali have slowed down.
Annnouncers speculating that Andy may be trying to get Franks group with them to try and help him out.
