Lance is pumping at 100 rpm, no rain atm.

Vande Velde at 36 sec back, Wiggens is first at the first check - by 1 sec. I guess he is good!

From Eurosport: LA starts in a quick tempo. Takes 25” of Frank S very early on. However, has some problem with the equipment. Throws his goggles.

2nd time check: Wiggins now 10 s behind Ignatiev. At first time check LA is 35” ahead of Frank Schleck - passed on GC.

A Schleck 20” behind Wiggins, not bad.

Cancellara made a lot of his time in the last half of the course.
