Can anybody here name the present Chairwoman of the RNC?
I can't. But if the RNC had any brains, which they have shown precious little so far, I ask her to step aside and invite Sarah Palin to fill the post.

Michelle Steele. /sarcasm
Sarah Palin as RNC charwoman? The RNC is run by RINO's, half wits and morons. That is being kind
Remember they made Mel Martinez RNC chair followed by Micheal Steele. Steele is only slightly tolerable as a conservative and factions are trying to force him out
I’ve got gas?!
Steele is not "slight tolerable." He's a RINO.
This Palinolatry on Free Republic is getting out of hand.
There are different degrees of RINO's. Steele is better than Martinez, which really isn't saying much
When I said "slightly tolerable" I did mean "slightly"
You’re short-sighted.
Desperate times make a desperate people.
These are times that try man souls......
Well, Nancy Pelosi just lead 8 Republicans around by the nose. Does she qualify as their leader?
Michael Steele doesn't have the power to place Sarah Palin into the RNC's Chairwoman's position. Only the National Executive Committee can do that.
In such a position, she could then go to all sorts of events to represent the real, grassroot fiscal conservatism of the Republican Party. She could even go to Marco Rubio's campaign rallies since the SRC has chosen to endorse Crist before the primary. In fact, just such an action would be viewed by many as evening the score.
In any event, Sarah Palin, as RNC Chair, could easily and quickly become the personification of the party itself and lead all those wayward RINOs back in the "Right" direction for the common good of all.

I'll grant you that, but it's like saying there are different degrees of gonorrhea...
