If as Satin Doll says O’s mother was in the Seattle area at the time of O’s birth it makes no sense to me that Obama would want to create the myth that he was born in Hawaii.
It's possible that myth was created for him by his mother...who needed a man like obama snr to stand in as father for a child - remember, no one on the island ever saw them together or saw obama jnr as a baby in Hawaii...
