OH MAN! Having had a piercing in my lip as a clueless 20-something, I can’t imagine the pain he felt when that man’s fist hit his mouth. I bumped it sleeping and it felt like a firecracker went off in my mouth.

This happened in the UK. The pensioner was not armed. No one in England is allowed to be armed. The bad guy had a knife. England just went about outlawing pointy knives. Did that help? Duh. That ratbastard was lucky the pensioner didn’t meet him at the door with a double bit axe. Governments going about outlawing weapons does nothing but make themselves feel good that they are doing something to help the populace. Had this pensioner had a firearm, this would have ended much faster. I personally prefer the three tier system. .45 cal pistol, backed up with nice big machete, backed up with 55 pound fearless mutt with big nasty pointy teeth. Kinda like the bunny in the Holy Grail. “There are some who call me....... TIM.”
