So on the week America celebrates its 233rd birthday, the PGA Tour makes a stop in our nation's capital as the famed Congressional Country Club hosts a star studded field led by the tournament host, Tiger Woods.
All the usual suspects will be in attendance using this event as a final warmup before heardin to Turnbury and the Open Championship in only 2 weeks time. Returning champion Anthony Kim, last week's winner and #1 in FedEx point standings, Kenny Perry, jim Furyk, Stewart Cink, Vijay Singh will all be on hand.....
Chris Smith, Ken Green and Phil and Amy Mickelson are in our prayers and will continue to be as they deal with their current challenges......

It’s rained a lot here all week and been cool too. Which is not a problem at all.
Not running the A/C this time of year isn’t a bad thing.
Michelson does everything righty but play golf.....I do everyhing lefty but play righty golf w/ a left handed putter
June is actually temp wise the hottest month......then monsoon humidity arrives but our June was the coolest this year by 70 years

I’m right handed, even play tennis right handed but grew up batting left handed (after my idol Stan Musial). So playing golf left handed is natural to me.
