True, true. :’D I was looking at a box of diskettes at Best Buy not long ago. Eight bucks I think it was. A one gig flash drive holds over 700 diskettes worth, meaning to duplicate the capacity one would need $560, not counting tax and the wheelbarrow. ;’) Of course, the files were way smaller at that time. And when the Syquest 44 mb removable winchesters took over at the self-service printing companies, it seemed like a whole new world. It was really sneakernet times 40; and using a flash drive for the same job isn’t much different. :’) And it’s very often far more convenient.
