LOS ANGELES – The Rev. Jesse Jackson says Michael Jackson's family wants an independent autopsy following the pop star's sudden death at age 50.
Jesse Jackson said after a Chicago press conference Saturday that there are unanswered questions surrounding the King of Pop's death, including about the role of the personal cardiologist who was with him.

Actually, once a body in interred, it's fairly difficult to get it exhumed, at least in my state. I would presume it's equally difficult in California. This is precisely why it's so easy to get a second or even third autopsy done.
A second autopsy isn't uncommon, especially when dealing with people with very substantial estates. Before insurance claims are made and paid, everyone wants to make sure that the I's are dotted and the T's are crossed.

If I were the insurance company that is holding the policy of the good Dr. Feelgood who pumped Whacko Jacko full of Demerol, I would be looking to lay off some of the suit. The Jackson Four knows Jacko is broke and they are going for the bucks.
