Dammit! I am driving up to South Dakota that day for a week’s vacation. :-( The reservations are all set. If I had known about this , I might have driven on July 5th or 6th and come back 2 days later.

A week ago Wednesday, we had to put down our 12 year old female GSD, Sammy. It was one of the hardest things I had to do. She was our 2nd one, and they are great dogs, very smart, very loyal. They always have that look on their faces: “What can we do now, and how soon can we do it?”

If Tinnitus is ringing in the ears, would Rintintinnitus be the sound of a dog barking?

He was French you know—found on the battlefields of WW I by a US Doughboy and brought to Los Angeles. He was trained then in the 1920s made movies. He was one of the most successful silent actors of them all. He even has a star on the Walk of Fame on Vine Street. He died in 1932 in the Arms of Jean Harlow and is buried just outside of Paris at a famed pet cemetery. Rin Tin Tin was the name of a French Puppet popular in 1918.
