I kinda see this guy as having a “Bridges Of Madison County” moment. It in no way excuses the sorrow and embarrassment he has caused his family. He is human and he succumbed to a weakness. He lost control. very sad.
As to his constituents in SC, he has let them down by acting irresponsibly in his job as Governor.
Somehow, I think he will end up resigning.
