That I sincerely believe. And I fear that some are compromised because their participation in the most despicable acts.
To me it is the only way to explain their votes in congress.
You'll struggle to find a politician who can get through the intentionally difficult election process without having been compromised well in advance.
This is not some mega-conspiracy. It is the nature of the beast. Those who run for politics are political. To be a successful politician involves compromise of positions, values, and morals. Populism is easiest, eventually, as government grows large enough to dole out significant goodies. Populism by its nature is manipulative. It thrives on clever lies and promises not kept.
It doesn't take much thinking or observation of human nature that just a little authority makes a man a dictator within that sphere of authority.
Government is political and politics is the practice of corruption. Hence, our wonderful God-graced Founders strove to give us a government that would remain small, thereby removing the interests of the powerful, wealthy and their pawns the egotistical (who go one to become politicians) from manipulating government and the Law to their personal benefit.
Sadly, Americans are compassionate to a fault, especially when they are spending just a little bit of someone else’s money.
