When did you change your name? It looks good!

Uri'el warned Noah the flood was coming.

It is in the book of Enoch.

I'm currently doing a deep study of James.

NAsbU James 5:3 Your gold and your silver have rusted; and their rust will
be a witness against you and will consume your flesh like fire. It is in the
last days that you have stored up your treasure!
2012 in in middle of this sabbatical cycle of years.

Things are collapsing at an ever increasing rate.

Obama's totus has messages directly from the Evil One.

Why are Republicans/conservatives expected to live book perfect/ saintly lives ? Just because they advocate morality ? It's the classic liberal argument. If you have any personal failing in your life you have no right to advocate morality to others or say what is right and what is wrong. Thus all immoral/ reprobate behavior is exempt from criticism in the liberal world because no one is perfect.

I agree that what he did was beyond stupid. But what I was illustrating is that Sanford will get *much* more flak for doing something that's *much* less reprehensible than Bawwwney and other RATS.

Bawwwwney and Sanford are *not* equivalent. The Banking Queen wins the Slimiest Scumbag In Politics award by a mile.

And his state keeps electing him. He is not running for national office AND he is part of the immoral dimm party. Sanford is a poster bot for arrogance -—oh well boff the party and those who believe in something I want what I want when I want it.

Wouldn’t it be fun just once for their side to own MeatHeadVille, and our side to be upstanding and responsible?

Their side owns all of MeatHead - the town, the county and the state. Unfortunately, some republicans drive through occasionally. They are not residents so they are immmediately booked, pillored and thrown out of office. A Republican behaving like a resident of MeatHeadVille will never be accepted and will always be outed.

Now as for the permenant residents of MeatHeadVille they can play naked twister with their staff members, male and female, lie, cheat, steal, commit fraud, bribery, extortion, and anything else that you can think of. It's okay, though. They are democrats, or MeatHeadVillians if you prefer, and are expected to act that way. As long as they vote to kill babies and give out welfare checks everything is forgivable.

If you can’t practice what you preach then you shouldn’t preach it. That’s the danger of being the “family values” party, makes them open to more scrutiny. If you’re going to be giving speeches about how immorality is destroying the country, it’s best to make sure you’re not part of the problem.

The Banking Queen wins the Slimiest Scumbag In Politics award by a mile.

Kennedy - Manslaughter, almost 50 years of unconstitutional gross legislative incompetence and the health care package is going to be named after him.

Clinton - Sold national secrets to China for campaign money, rape?, murder?

Obama - Cocaine snorting professional communist street thug who has seized dictatorial powers almost unchallenged?

Barney is a major pain the rear (sorry) but he isn't top of the list.

We are not wrong to expect better behavior from our elected representatives than the "average" Joe Blow with a "mid-life crisis" or a "seven-year itch" or what ever else those who excuse bad behavior, because it is more convenient, call it.

We elect these people to represent us in our nation's capitol. They are supposed to have a higher level of behavior than some tomcat in a back alley.

This is a problem of selfishness and self-centeredness. This is I want, I want, I want!!! Screamed like a little kid throwing a temper tantrum rather than the actions of a careful, measured adult.

Everybody doesn't have an affair. Everybody doesn't cheat on their spouses. Everybody doesn't lie to the American people or live the hypocrite's life.

Mark Sanford is a spoiled, effing slimeball, rat turd and he deserves no sympathy or loyalty from Conservatives.

This is a symptom of our society in general and it reminds me of What Thomas Paine wrote in the first sentence of his introduction to Common Sense written February 14, 1776:
"...a long habit of not thinking a thing wrong, gives it a superficial appearance of being right, and raises at first a formidable outcry in defence of custom.
Our culture has accepted aberational behavior as normal for so long that even people that ought to know better feel entitled to misbehave.

If you cannot keep your marriage vows, how can anyone trust you to keep any other promise you make?

Jon and Kate are glad this took the heat off of them. All people men/women who screw around need to have a special place after this life is over.

this is a politician in general thing

Unfortunately, I think it is a societal thing. And will get worse rather than better. Honor, integrity, ethics, they are all jeered at derisively............depending on your political persuasion. It's a private matter unless you are a Repub or conservative. For conservatives the political moniker doesn't matter. I hope that remains to be the case.

That's just the point. We are not Liberals. We do not accept "immoral/ reprobate behavior" as exempt from criticism. We believe there is a right and a wrong. It is one of the primary differences between Conservatives and Liberals.

Yes it is "the classic liberal argument" but that does not negate the fact that we on the right adhere to a higher moral standard. We believe in a higher moral calling than the vain, self-serving baser instincts in which the lower animals indulge.

We are not dogs to couple in the streets, we are men and thus subject to our consciences and our higher reasoning. Just because our desires tell us to do something does not make it right or permissable to follow those desires.

It is the thin veneer of civilization which separates man from beast.

Sanford is a fragile emotional wreck. His life and the future of everyone who loves him are in shambles, thus he is in no position to focus on doing his job. He needs some serious down time.

Best of luck to him and his family.

This has nothing to do with the GOP... I also don’t find this worthy of a vanity to bash the GOP... this is very sad for the people involved...

“Funny how the left forget Clinton, Franks (with another man I might add), Spitzer, Edwards...”

...Gary Hart, Jesse Jackson, LBJ, Kennedy, FDR, Wilson, and on and on and on.

Polticians have affairs. Embarrass them publicly? Go right ahead. Draw conclusions about the party? Heck no.

I get what he’s saying. We are the “values” party. At least Republicans are supposed to be. This is disappointing. Are any of us perfect? No. But being in office, one is held to a higher standard. At least by us.
