Barring some unforeseen major physical setback, Brett Favre will be at training camp in Mankato when they open up the end of July, a source has told WCCO's Mark Rosen.
That source said that Favre and the Vikings have indeed come to a contractual agreement, with heavy incentives. The Vikings equipment manager has already ordered number 4 purple jerseys with his name on it.
BTW Aaron Rodgers will have a better season.
Favre wants to break Jim Marshall’s record of consecutive games started. Marshall by the way played for the Vikings.
yawwwwwwwwwwwwn - who wants to watch this washed up guy? He did such a “good” job for the Jets last year LOL.
If he can still play then more power to him. But please stop with the retirement opus’s Brett..........
270 is amazing for any position, but especially for the trenches (Marshall played DE). And unlike Favre, Marshall wasn't a whining, bitter, complaining, constantly retiring/unretiring attention hound.
The Packer D will be looking to tee off bigtime.
7-9?
I agree. Let the dude play. If he fails and embarrasses himself, the better...but do it on the field instead of listening to all these armchair QB’s dictate if he plays or not. It wont take critics to tell Favre to retire but his failure on the field will..
Hopefully Favre won't end up a rather sad character, sitting on a bar stool, telling anybody that will listen about his troubles.
Nice, I hope this is true.
