"Who lied for him ?"The other cops in the district and elsewhere, including the higher ups. They were successful in suppressing any filing of charges, or prosecution by the State's Attorney's office for just over one month. An ass't DA pushed hard, stuck with the bartender's case and got the prosecution. Then Flemming let him skate.
