I thought Cincinnati was the “Queen City”.... still don’t know what that title means and I have lived here 7 years.

The second biggest city in Ohio.
Buffalo is known as teh Queen City also- The second biggest in NY.

Jackson Michigan is the Rose city which makes no sense to me. We have a rose parade that has next to nothing to do with roses.

Its petunia town in my book because they plant the fairground wit petunias every summer.

Nelson, British Columbia
Plainfield, New Jersey
Poughkeepsie, New York
Regina, Saskatchewan, named after Queen Victoria
Toronto, Ontario
Seattle, Washington, used Queen City as its official nickname from 1869 until 1982
Springfield, Missouri
Staunton, Virginia
Virginia, Minnesota

Cincinnati was originally referred to as “The Queen City of the West” in the early 1800s. It was later contracted to just “The Queen City”.
