My dad was the transportation manager at the Dallas Ford Plant. The first one off the Dallas line was turquoise with a white top - all the managers took a turn to take it home for a week. It was awesome and I, at 8 years old, had no clue. My older brothers did... We wound up with a red one - not the candy apple red, the ugly red. it was OURS!
