“La cucaracha, la cucaracha
ya no puede caminar.
porque no tiene, porque le falta
las dos patitas de atrás.”
You folks want a 100% roach killer? It is called “Combat.” (Combat Platinum roach killing gel).
It is a U.S. product out of Arizona. It is also toxic to humans (children) and pets. But used out of reach of children and pets, it has no rival.
All it takes is one application as per the directions; and in three months, roaches are all gone never, ever to return again.
The first time in my life I got an infestation of these creatures a few months back. Spays and bug bombs did not affect them. They just continued to thrive and multiply.
Combat ended that forever.
And no, I have no connection with the company or anybody who works there.
I bought it at the local hardware store here in Panama. It is so powerful, they do not have it on the shelves. One has to ask for it at the checkout counter, and the clerk digs it out from beneath the cash register.
Oh yes. I have 5 kitty cats but no children. Since I was very careful, the cats were in no danger.
The AI in Combat is very effective with “social insects” — ie, roaches, ants, etc. It works really well where even a couple of the insects get into the poison and carry it back to the larger group.
Another product I’ve used as a barrier/contact insecticide that I really like, and is labeled for use even in the kitchen, is Tempo Ultra SC. No license required, a little spendy, but very safe around children and animals. It is a synthetic pyrethroid.
