You got it. Many years ago when I was in college in the 80’s a police officer was elated that they could take your car or house for having drugs. It went down hill from there. It is all about money.

I hope the mayor sues the police chief. I also hope he raises an adversory to vote this guy out of office. The all hang together. Shooting labs is just unacceptable.

Agreed. One of my big fears is that my little toy fox terrier will be hurt or killed in a break in or a "no knock"search on the wrong house. Honestly, I don't see how I could move on from something like that. It would haunt me for many years. I care about my animals like they were my children.
