If you don’t want your cat to be kitty food for a big kitties, don’t let it run wild.

A couple of years ago, our neighbors watched in horror as a hawk snatched their six month old Persian kitten right from their back yard in front of them.

Sad for them, great for the hawk.

One of my favorite parts of early morning fishing is seeing a bald eagle or osprey catch a fish. It’s a little different when it’s a cat, i’m sure.

Long ago, we had a friend whose girlfriend took in a stray. She named it Bushes because she found it under one. She gave it to him because of his woodsy yard. About a month later, it got carried off by a raptor. He never told her, and they broke up, but for years, she would call to ask about Bushes, and he would always tell her, “Fine, fine. She had another litter,” or “She’s doing great.” etc.
