I am habitually late to the latest technology. I just got an HDTV 2 months ago. I am ready to throw it in the ocean because some people are just too ugly to be seen in Hi Def...but I digress...
I was embarrassed that everyone else had heard of e-cigarettes before I did and I'm supposed to be the nanny state guy on FR (let me just throw myself on the mercy of the court like Jim Baker and say "I'm sorry, I have sinned!")
It would be nice to stick it to the man and at least pretend to smoke anywhere while getting my nicotine.
So I ordered them to try it out. I bought them from NJOY for no other reason than their owner was in the news and seemed willing to fight the entrenched powers (tobacco control, big Pharma, big Tobacco) in public and I liked his style. I have no interest in pimping a product.
It came in a nice package with all of the responsible disclaimers that you would expect when you know that the fetid breath of gubmint will soon be breathing down your neck....not for kids, nicotine is addictive, for current smokers.
Readers Digest version:
Cons: I don't get the same nicotine buzz I get from the Ultra Light tobacco cigarette I normally smoke.
Pros: I can smoke them in my office, they don't stink and I don't feel like taking a cigarette break all day.
Conclusion: I'm not sure if nico-Nazis and grant junkies need to be concerned that this will cause everyone to quit tobacco completely and force them to get a real job befitting someone of their skills like being a supermarket deli meat slicer.
Great stuff, ain’t it?
One of the guys at my work brought his bottle of tobacco flavoring from Johnson’s Creek and gave me a couple of drops. GREAT STUFF!
I’ll repay him tomorrow with a few drops of the RY4 that arrived today.
Probably because carbon monoxide replaces some of the oxygen and theoretically deprives you of some of your oxygen? Huffers get their high due to this.
Same here, my daughter, too. Have to be really careful with them.
That is the only explanation I have heard so far.
4 boxes of Marlboro a day here. This is the first I’ve heard of e-cigs. I think I would need a strong one. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
Get a DSE-901 and some Totally Wicked 36mg fluid.
I was smoking my really strong RYO stuff, and made the switch just fine.

Who, may I ask, is TW?
Thanks a ton Randall! Also interested in the MarBoro Juice that GRRRRR was talking about.
I consider it my contribution to the unravelling of The Ones plans.
No problem, FRiend.
Please keep the rest of us vapers updated on your progress.
Website where you can purchase personal nicotine vaporizers and liquid nicotine to use in the vaporizer. It works...I love the coffee flavor.
Am I correct that these things are made in China?
If so...I just can’t bring myself to imagine inhaling anything made by the enemy. (I never smoked; but I’d love to help my son stop.)
Most of them are, but there’s a couple that aren’t The screwdriver is made in Great Britain and (I think) the Smoking Everywhere brand is made here in America -but they have bad reviews. The Screwdriver, however, is known as the Cadillac of ecigs. I have one and love it.
Thanks, Randall. I’d be much more comfortable with one made in England.
I won’t even buy a pan made in China.
:-)
Aye. Please keep us all updated on your progress?
I’ll have to prod Son. When I first encouraged Son to take this route, he was the one who told me that they’re made in China (He knows his mother!).
I shall let you in on any and all changes, Randall.
:-)
Thank you.
