The Lakers win their 15th organizational title, and 10th in Los Angeles, in their 30th Finals appearance. They defeat the Orlando Magic, 99-86 in Game 5, and win the series 4 games to 1.
Kobe Bryant was named MVP of the Finals.
I didn't say anything about rape. I said "unconventional" which refers to anal sex, not rape.
The girl went home and slept. Only after speaking to her mother in the morning, sis they realize they could shake down Kobe.
Dirt bags!
In the butt bob
Regardless. The girl was a shake down artist.
I don’t think Kobe even had children when the sex incident occurred.
The girl who shook him down was worse.
Most of our professional athletes (in all sports) are overpaid thugs.
She refused to testify because the rape test kit showed she had several other guys DNA swimming around inside her.
Sounds like she was looking to make a quick buck.
Kobe showed poor judgement.
Get over it already.
The girl was a tramp looking to shake him down.
I didn’t say I had sympathy for her. She was stupid; but that still doesn’t make Kobe out to be a good guy in that situation.
Maybe I am old fashioned, but any sex outside of marriage is a sin. Even if she was a willing participant, they were both sluts.
That fits the definition of rape in virtually all, if not all, states.
He did her in the boo boo
Settled a civil suit and wanted to be done with it. He admitted his mitake of adultery and was embarrased no doubt.
He WAS cleared of all charges. BTW-—the guy just wins a championship and you drudge up this crap from the past.
Enjoy the sour grapes pal!
I stopped when Jerry West retired.
Congrats also to The Orlando Magic for a great season.I hope they live an learn like the Lakers did after losing to Boston last year.
Through the series, Orlando just didn’t look like they wanted to win.
Didn't Jordan have 6? And weren't they two sets of threepeats? And doesn't Magic have five? IIRC, Tim Duncan and Shaq both have 4, same as Kobe, and both are still active. So I'd say Kobe is up there with Shaq and Tim Duncan. But Jordan? Um, no.
his past will always be with him. He is what he is and you can worship him for the man he is.
I don’t have sour grapes; I don’t like basketball. Football is my sport.
That would be included in the CO definition of sexual penetration, which is similar to most states.
Kobe isn’t done yet.
I see at least one if not two more rings in his future.
He doesn’t have as many rings as Michael and Magic, but he is right up there in that elite group of great players.
He is only 30 years old and can play another 4-5 years.
