Just watched it again. The OHP officer is competely out of control. His, “I’m not going to take this s#!t” statement says it all. Its all about him and its all about his ego.
He becomes completely unhinged when he is told that he came up behind the ambulance quickly (we know he was going 100mph) and doubles up on the screaming and cursing.
One of the first things the Lead EMT states when he determines just what the LEO wants is that there is a patient onboard. The LEO could care less.
The LEO needed a good hard fist to the nose. The EMTs were smart enough and professional enough not to oblige him.
I know. But what I wanted you to check was when he refers to White as what I hear as “piece of trash.”
Start at 14:00 on the counter. (middle of video) When calling in code three, Martin says he “got this ambulance over here... needs help over here”...Then I hear him say what I think is: “this piece of trash.”
I could be wrong. That’s why I was seeking a confirmation. But it sounds like it to me when you listen very carefully.
