I am normally not lawsuit happy. But in this case I hope they get awarded twice that amount and it comes right from the officers pocket.

A police officer who fabricates a crime against a citizen should be jailed for life.

Same with any corruption by officers.

Unfortunately, some police officers do not take their oath seriously.
