just out of curiosity, how do you feel about the NORTHERN slave-OWNERS & the MANY northerners (including numerous "leaders of the abolitionist movement"!!!) who were invested IN slavery from it's first days until its end???

just out of curiosity, how do you feel about the NORTHERN slave-OWNERS & the MANY northerners (including numerous "leaders of the abolitionist movement"!!!) who were invested IN slavery from it's first days until its end??? I'm sure there were a handful of unscrupulous Northerners who were happy to make money off of owning human flesh.
But, whatever the faults of the antebellum North, its economy wasn't based on slavery.
