He'd be surprised. In the mid-90s sometime I pulled into some movieplex parking lot in L.A. and found hundreds of very excited teenage girls. So I parked and asked a few what was going on. They said, "oooh, you don't KNOW? Ricky Martin will be here any second!!!" I responded that I had no idea who that is, and they looked at me like I was from another planet. ..."you know, from Menudo." I said, "oh yeah, that flaming homo." lol..I was almost killed after that. "He's NOT gay!", they screeched. Teenaged (and occasionally older) girls are a hilariously naive bunch.
