And therein lies the rub. Most muslims can be categorized as 'peaceful' - but does that mean they are permanently apostate - or are they just lying dormant - awaiting their religious fervor to be rekindled at a later 'reawakening'?
And given the doctrine of 'taqkiya' (sp), where the koran/hadiths encourages its adherents to engage in deceit (vs. the Word of God - where God makes it clear that HE hates a liar), we can only treat assurances of peaceful intents with a grain of salt.
