I have had an iPhone since day-one. I think it is the best device ever. Can’t wait for the new gen phone. However, I have seen no mention that it will be 4g compatible.

Because AT&T isn't rolling out 4G until 2011. Maybe next year's phone will have 4G so people entering the second year of that phone's contract can take advantage of the rollout.

The big deal tomorrow will be iPhone OS 3.0 and hopefully a preview of Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard, with a release date and pricing details to boot.

I got the 3G this past year and love it. Syncs up flawlessly with my MacBook Pro. I cannot wait for the 3.0.

Had a chance to play around with the new Palm Pre yesterday. Did not like it as much as the iPhone. The screen resolution is great, but the screen area is too small, and so is the retractable keyboard.

I think the iPhone's screen area and virtual keyboard are just right. And when they finally introduce the landscape mode for email, notes, Calendar, and messaging, I really don't know why anyone would really want to go back to a physical keyboard ( unless they're a die hard Blackberry user ).

I think the 4G comes out in 2010.
