Bodice ripper = “ slaked his need”

It seems that shooting off half of one’s need with a 9mm is a crime in Germany.

LOL - we used to get hold of those bodice-rippers when I was in college and read passages aloud and laugh uproariously.

The words "pulsating" and "undulating" seem to be mandatory in these books and breasts are always "heaving" and eyes tend to "blaze," often accompanied by "smoldering" looks.
