Drats!! Another big company moving to my homestate....who’s next? We have good folks, good government, and lots of space with low taxes to boot. I hope Ohio and Michigan never learn and stay that way for a long time because we need the cash down here for fishing poles and boats and stuff.

The old Rust Belt region, centered in Ohio and Michigan, and including Indiana, Pennsylvania and parts of Illinois, New York, and West Virginia, continues to deindustrialize. This process has been going on for at least 30 years. We will no doubt find out if America can remain a superpower if our industrial base is gone. Both the neoconservatives, who imagine we can pursue aggressive action to defeat Islamic terrorism, future Chinese hegemony, and a renewed Russian threat without having the manufacturing capacity that provided the North with victory in the Civil War and the nation with victory in the World Wars, and the liberals, who dislike industry in general except when its tax revenues feed their socialist schemes and their inflated wages support their union allies, are to blame for the slow death of U.S. industry.

I’ve lived in Michigan for 70 years, Michigan will never learn. Its been going down hill since the 60’s and now is one of the worst in the country..When they elected Republicans as governor, they were all Rino’s...
