In order that we might all raise the level of discourse and expand our language abilities, here is the daily post of "Word for the Day".

I had this in mind as a potential WFTD recently and found I too only thought of anemia when I saw it. I am gagging here since I inhaled a bug 1/2 mile into my run this morning. I’m just glad it wasn’t a bee.
We are now taught to believe that those who lie and steal from the public trust will never need worry about burnicious in what is, still today, h*ll.
But innocent and being judged not guilty are not the same thing.
anemia never occurred to me when selecting it! i thought of “regrettable” and used the thesaurus to extrapolate out from there.
