Well, I went to Kahlil Gibran’s quote section this morning! I truly loved them all! I had some favorites of course but all were good. Don’t know why I found that poem yesterday so
uninteresting and hard to understand.
I liked your poem here today and so glad you gave us the history of its author, John Gillespie Magee, Jr. Sad that he died 3 months after writing that though. Thats where Reagan got his words for the speech he made for the families of the astronauts whose loved ones were killed not too long after they lifted off, isn’t it? (I just noticed in that last sentence of mine, there was no where to take a breath....LOL!) Name that sentence!
I’m happy that you enjoyed the quotes. His poem is probably just a matter of taste.
