Enjoying your reread?

“A friend who is far away is sometimes much nearer than one who is at hand. Is not the mountain far more awe-inspiring and more clearly visible to one passing through the valley than to those who inhabit the mountain?” - Kahlil Gibran

I did enjoy..much to consider there.., Lady Jag.
I’ve been hosing down the A/C compressor..It did well during hotter days than this and suddenly warmed up above my thermostat setting..It is working as it is supposed to for now..It’s about bedtime with my way off normal sleeping pattern..I’ll be back tonight.

Never mind about the interpretation Ms L.J. I think I found out why I was having a problem from the man himself.

From Wikipedia:

Kahlil Gibran: One of his most notable lines of poetry in the English-speaking world is from “Sand and Foam” (1926), which reads : “Half of what I say is meaningless, but I say it so that the other half may reach you”.

I guess I was reading the wrong half.
