Oh, yum! Sounds delicious yorkie! I believe you could use margarine, Meg, but I wouldn't want to advise you wrong! I make my pineapple upside down cakes with margarine. I keep a a couple of sticks of real butter around, mostly for seasoning veggies, etc. I buy those small packages with only two sticks inside. (Land O Lakes).

I buy butter when it’s on sale, and stick it in the freezer for future use. I have never used ‘tub’ marjorine for baking, but have used ‘stick’ marjorine.

JC, I think you and I make the exact recipe for our pineapple upside down cake!

I cancelled that font and color and it showed up. AVG has put a toolbar on my computer just a few minutes ago. What in the world is that all about?
