A Chinese software company called Kingsoft Corp. acknowledged that the issue was created by a translator program it had written – one that would make the English speaking world understand what they were printing on their furniture’s labels.
As someone who has lived in China, I can vouch for how poor their translations can be. This is probably an innocent error... but go try to tell that to the aggrieved minority in question (and their lawyers looking for a kaching).

And there-in lies the truth to most "racism" claims anymore.

It's not about truly being offended to the point where you can't sleep or eat for days.....

.....It's about finding the pot-o-gold.

I have NEVER heard of anyone being sued for being calling someone a "red neck", "whitey", "pale face", "cracker", or using the term "Irish Green".

Racism cries have become nothing more than minorities getting booty at other's expense with the help of the legal system.

Trust that certain minority (who are eternally looking for a fight) to be the only ones to get hysterical about it.

Thanks for the reminder of how bad the English translations throughout Asia have been during my visits there. I especially found the bathroom or WC-related ones hilarious.

By the way, did anyone see “The Dam Busters” on TCM during the Memorial Day weekend? The reason I ask is because I swear the group captain’s dog was named “N*gg*r.” Was I hearing things? The British movie was made in the Forties or Fifties so PC was not yet in vogue.
