It was rhetorical. I do think that if one attempts to assasinate
a US president that life in prison without parole is a good idea.
Although, they could still be pardoned. I know that Sirhan Sirhan
is always up for parole but can’t quite convince the board to
let him go.
That confuses me? I know that he killed RFK and all but what other murder has served as long as he has? Is it because it was a Kennedy he assinated unlike Moore? RFK wasn’t President either? Not that I’m a great avocate of letting murders go but it does make me wonder why when he’s been in jail since 1969?
Back in the days when Bill Maher was funny, he did a bit about Sirhan Sirhan who, at the time, was saying he was sure Bobby Kennedy himself would be in favor of his pardon. “Damn, the only person who would advocate for your release...and you killed him.”
I surprised that Sirhan Sirhan has lasted this long without a fellow prisoner “taking care of business”.
