OK, maybe leftist was a bit strong, but Wyman made it clear she did not agree with her former Husband on many issues.

After the end of her fifth marriage in 1965, Wyman remained single the rest of her life, converted to Catholicism, joined the Dominican order and was buried dressed in the habit of a Dominican nun. I’ll bet at the end of her life she agreed with Ronald Reagan on many issues.

Nancy, too ... and Barbara and Laura Bush didn’t concur fully with their husbands on all fronts, either. All of them are more friendly to the ‘pro-choice’ position than their husbands.
