I’ll have to dive that this or next summer. Did the video mention its depth?

Joe, your post just reminded me ...

The Florida HR recently sent a bill to the state Senate authorizing drilling in the waters off Florida's shores. It appears it will stay on the back burner until gas prices at the pump rise above the $4 mark again. The following article was posted on FR a few weeks ago that also links a video showing what an ENVIRONMENTAL BONANZA offshore oil rigs are...

I've called and emailed my ‘conservative’ State Senator, Mike Haridopolos, asking for his support in moving this bill forward. Apparently environmental issues are the main concern. He won't reply to my request.

Would you ping your Brevard County list to get some heat applied to our Senator who sends out birthday cards asking for our input?

I heard some news person talking about how the fish will be attracted to this ship after it is sunk. It will be a great place to fish. A lot of people don't realize that an oil platform attracts fish in the same way this sunken ship will. Drilling off shore would be great for Floridas fishermen.
