She waited four days to file? Two state employees fooling around on the taxpayer's dime .........I suspect there is a lot more to this story than is being reported. The "biter" gets a retirement check from Waterbury, another paycheck from Meriden and a paycheck from the State of CT Police Academy ... triple dipping.

Accused Of Biting Woman, Cop Quits

MERIDEN - A former police captain accused of biting a woman in the arm has resigned from his job as training coordinator at the Meriden Police Department, a police spokesman said.

Francis Woodruff, 51, left the department on May 8 after an employee at the Police Officer and Standards Training Council said he bit her arm on April 24, leaving teeth marks and bruising, officials said.

Woodruff was assigned to work part time with POST through his job with Meriden police, but he is no longer allowed on the property, said Chief Thomas Flaherty, executive Director at POST.

Woodruff, a retired Waterbury police captain, told state police that he was "horsing around" and only pretended to bite Rochelle Wyler, a license and applications analyst, according to an arrest affidavit.
