I agree. Certainly conservatives who would make good at elective office should take a shot at at. The author actually seems to agree with your statement when he says:
"Sam Adams and the Sons of Liberty were not just rabble rousers. Many of them were elected assemblymen who shaped the course of our nations history."
Clearly then, there were Sons of Liberty who were "just" rabble rousers (maybe they, like Rush, were doing what they did best, i.e., "rouse" the public [rabble]).
Your headline hd nothing to do with your article. Either that, or you failed to address it.
I always get a chuckle out of people who insist that someone else should step up and represent them.
Franken failed and went to a government job
Rush was persistant and over many seperate failures rose up again and again to become “america’s anchorman”.
Franken is just .....weak.
